Why We Are Fee-Based Advisors
When HFG was started in 2005, there was no question as to which compensation model would be adopted – it had to be FEE-BASED. In the fee-based model, clients don’t have to wonder in the back of their mind whether recommendations are being made for some ulterior motive.
Under a fee-based model, when we give a recommendation, our clients know we’re on the same side of the table because we are incentivized to grow their portfolio and to defend those assets to the best of our ability in down years.
